HAWAIIAN Hula Dancer Surfer Girl Modern Baby Quilt~ Tropical Beach Sea Turtle Whale Seahorse Wave Quilted Wall Hanging or Baby Quilt

This is a precious addition to a baby nursery decorated with a tropical beach or Hawaiian theme! It's a great size for a crib (39" x 49"). It would be a great play mat for the floor for infants on their backs playing with toys dangling above them before they start to crawl. It would be a very fun baby shower gift! It could also be a favorite blanket for a toddler, perfect for them to snuggle with in their car seat or stroller. I also designed the size to also work as a beautiful wall hanging or adult lap quilt. It's very versatile & you are sure to love it. And, I have the coordinating Hawaii Ana Quilt fabric squares in my shop individually if you wanted to make a matching pillow, etc.

I used a variety of Hawaii Ana Quilt color schemes so this would be a very happy and colorful quilt! There are (12) 10.5" organic cotton sateen squares in this quilt, including:

These squares were sashed with 1" white Kona cotton to give it the "modern quilt" look and to make the colors pop! I added a 3" outside border made from Island Batik green fabric with green and blue tonal leaves. There is a soft lightweight cotton batting to give it a nice look and feel. I used a coordinating tonal fabric with water bubbles on the quilt backing. This was then long arm quilted in a gorgeous Water Bubble pattern. I made the outside binding from the same green and blue leaves fabric, and it was stitched by machine. Please make sure to view and zoom in on all the pictures so you can see the details close up.
