Quilted Humpback Whale Batik Pillow Cover~ Humpback Whale Batik Fabric Pillow Cover Green Blue Hawaii Alaska Migrating California Coast

This is a beautiful Humpback Whale pillow cover done in blues and greens. Ann Jensen created the lovely centerpiece artwork, and I printed it on cotton. Detailed quilting was added to this design, especially on the white underside of the Whale. Click on the actual pictures to see the details close up. I added an inner blue border with Island Batiks Waterfall fabric, and then a 3.5" outer border of Michael Miller's fancy Coral Reef with gold metallic accents from their Batik fabric collection. The blue and green colors give this a very tropical feel you will love, and the metallic areas give great shimmer and interest. The back of the pillow cover is made from the same Coral Reef fabric (see last picture). The cover has an envelope opening so that you can insert your own pillow form and remove it if the pillow cover ever needs to be washed. I recommend using an 18" pillow insert or loose poly fill for best results.
