Shades of Paradise Surfer Girl Hawaiian MINKY Baby Quilt Ocean Wave Hula Dancer~ Tropical Beach Sea Turtle Blue Green Modern Minky Quilt

This is a precious addition to a baby nursery decorated with a Surfing, Beach or Hawaiian theme! It would be a very fun baby shower gift and is a great size for a crib (38" x 46"). It could also be a favorite blanket for a toddler, perfect for them to snuggle with for many years. This size also works as a soft lap quilt. It's very versatile & you are sure to love it. I used (12) Hawaii Ana Quilt 10" Minky squares in this quilt, including at least one of the following:

* Na Pali Coast Blue Watercolors
* Surfer Girl Beach Babe
* Sea Turtle Cool Green & Blue
* Hula Dancer on Beach
* Ocean Wave Green
* Seahorse Aqua Ocean
* Hanalei Bay Cool Colors
* Sea Turtle Blue Watercolors
* Ocean Wave Blue
* Tropical Gecko

These squares were sashed with a mixture of Shannon Fabrics Minky "Shades of Paradise" blue and green collection of colors, and each corner is offset with a white Minky square to give it the "modern quilt" look and to make the colors pop! I used a gorgeous Minky called "Sea Glass Hide" from Shannon Fabrics for the quilt backing. This was then long arm quilted in a Meandering pattern. I made the outside binding from the same green Sea Glass Hide Minky, and it was stitched by machine. Please make sure to view all the pictures so you can see the details close up. This has already been prewashed for you (2) times, so it is ready to gift and use.
