Quilted Sea Turtle Surfboards Tropical Hibiscus Flowers Pillow Cover Beach Hawaiian Honu Blue Aqua Green Purple Batik

This is a beautiful Sea Turtle pillow cover done in blue, purple and aqua green. Ann Jensen created the lovely centerpiece artwork, and I printed it on cotton. Detailed quilting was added to this design, including variegated colors on the turtle shell. Click on the actual pictures to see the details close up. I added a purple flange inner border, then a thin blue border with Island Batiks Waterfall fabric, then a Bermuda Green batik flange, and the outer 3.5" border is Michael Miller's Surfboards & Hibiscus Flowers design from their Batik fabric collection. The back of the pillow cover is made from the same Surfboards fabric. The cover has an envelope opening so that you can insert your own pillow form and remove it if the pillow cover ever needs to be washed. I recommend using an 18" pillow insert or loose poly fill for best results.
