Tropical Beach Quilted Batik Mug Rug~ Colorful Fabric Snack Mat Coaster for Adults or Kids

This quilted tropical beach fabric Mug Rug is a perfect coaster for your tea or coffee cup along with a muffin or snack. This is also great for a children's snack mat or for protecting your counters from candles. The main Polihale Beach was designed by Hawaii Ana Quilt and I printed it onto organic cotton sateen fabric. I then stitched a blue floral batik border around it. I added (8) Island Batik quilt squares in coordinating colors of blue, green, beige and brown to match the ocean, sandy beach and mountains. I stitched them in a patch layout on the right side of the main design. These were quilted over batting so it has a nice feel and look. I used the same blue floral fabric on the back of the Mug Rug.

The finished Mug Rug measures 11" x 7". It can be washed on a gentle cycle. Please feel free to ask me any questions you may have. May your days be filled with much Aloha!
