Tropical Beach Sunset Mountains Quilted Fabric Mug Rug Colorful Kauai Hawaii Snack Mat

This quilted Tropical Beach Sunset fabric Mug Rug is perfect for holding your tea or coffee cup along with a muffin or snack. This is also great for protecting your wood from candles or for using as a young girl's snack mat. It is very colorful and happy! The main Na Pali Coast Sunset Glow design is by Hawaii Ana Quilt and I printed it onto organic cotton sateen fabric. I added a white cotton strip above the design, and a wider white strip underneath. I patchwork stitched two different green batik leaf squares together for the bottom, and added a green batik vertical strip next to the beach. I used a bright yellow fabric from Island Batik Fabrics for the outside binding, and a blue floral batik fabric for the back. This was quilted over batting so it has a nice feel and look. The finished Mug Rug measures 5.5" x 10", and it can be washed on a gentle cycle.
