Humpback Whale Quilted Fabric Mug Rug Coastal Sea Life Snack Mat Coaster

This quilted Humpback Whale fabric Mug Rug is perfect for holding your tea or coffee cup along with a muffin or snack. This is also great for protecting your wood from candles or for using as a young girl's snack mat. It is very colorful and happy! The main Whale design is by Hawaii Ana Quilt and I printed it onto organic cotton sateen fabric. I added a thin white cotton strip above the design, and a wider white strip underneath. I patchwork stitched green and orange batik squares together for the bottom. I used a rainbow colored floral batik fabric from Island Batik Fabrics for the outside binding, and a blue floral batik fabric for the back. This was quilted over batting so it has a nice feel and look. The finished Mug Rug measures 5.5" x 10", and it can be washed on a gentle cycle.
