Quilted Tropical Gecko Lizard Pillow Cover~ Colorful Batik Fabric~ Fits 18" Insert

This is a colorful and fun Gecko pillow cover. Ann Jensen created the lovely centerpiece artwork, and I printed it on cotton. Detailed quilting was added to this design; click on the actual pictures to see the details close up. I then created an interesting border made from coordinating batik fabric colors in bright pink and yellow, tropical leaves, tonal blue water, green, light purple, teal and light pink. I added an embroidered applique beach umbrella with sand and a sea star patch to the top right area. The back of the pillow cover is made from the same Island Batik light blue "Scuba" fabric. The cover has an envelope opening so that you can insert your own pillow form and remove it if the pillow cover ever needs to be washed. I recommend using an 18" pillow insert or loose poly fill for best results. The four edges are designed to have a curve to them so that when the pillow is inserted there will be smooth corners instead of the rabbit ears a lot of pillows have.

Care is easy: machine or hand wash inside out. I'd recommend air drying, and you can iron it if you prefer before re-inserting your pillow form. Please feel free to ask me any questions you may have. May your days be filled with much Aloha!
