SEA OTTER Baby MINKY Quilt, Coastal Beach Ocean Under the Sea Blanket, Baby Shower, Crib, Play Mat, Toddler Snuggle Blanket

This is an adorable Sea Otter baby quilt. The centerpiece has an otter swimming and holding a green umbrella up as the rain falls down, and it was designed by Kristen Jasper Fine Art. The finished quilt is 37"-38"; no two are identically sized as this is handmade. It's a sweet addition to a baby nursery decorated with a tropical beach or sea life theme, and it would be a great Baby Shower gift. It's nice for the crib, stroller, car seat, and later as a blanket the child will love to snuggle with. Click on the pictures to see the largest view.

Both sides of the blanket are made from the softest Minky. I added a designer Minky with blue water bubbles and green sea grass around the center Sea Otter design. I then used coordinating smooth green Minky and a turquoise blue Minky with a bubble texture from Shannon Fabrics. For the outside border, I used another design from Kristen Jasper Fine Art based on her Alcohol Ink painting "Tsunami" that I printed on Minky. The binding and back are done in a beautiful smooth turquoise blue Cuddle Minky. It has been quilted with a free-flowing meandering stitch to finish this perfectly. This is such a soft and beautiful baby quilt that you will love even more in person!
