SEAL Under the Sea Fabric Art Quilt Velvet Wall Hanging~ Alcohol Ink Seal Art Quilt Tropical Fish Reef Big Stitch Hand Quilted~ 18"

This is a colorful Art Quilt wall hanging of an underwater scene with a seal and tropical fish. Kristen Jasper hand painted this lovely alcohol ink collage as an original artwork, and I had the design printed onto velvet fabric. It has a gorgeous seal peeking at you as the focal point, and there is also sea grass, star fish, water bubbles, and tropical fish. The primary colors are a seafoam green/blue, grass green, and royal blue and purple. Award-winning quilter Charlotte Noll then used Big Stitch hand quilting accents throughout the design, using Sue Spargo Eleganza variegated blue green quilting thread. Premium Quilter's Dream batting was used, and I used Michael Miller's Baby Blue Pearlized Fairy Frost cotton fabric on the back. The binding was made from Michael Miller's Luna color Pearlized cotton, and was also Big Stitch hand quilted. There are triangular pockets on the back for you to easily insert a dowel for hanging your Art Quilt. The finished wall hanging measures 18" x 18". You will need to provide the wood dowel for hanging this artwork. I also have this design as a cotton or velvet fabric panel in my store if you would like to make your own quilt, pillow or wall hanging. Note, if you want these same vibrant colors, choose the velvet option. The "Kathy's Impressions" watermark pictured will not be on your Art Quilt.
