Surfer Girl Fabric Art Quilt Wall Hanging~ Beach Babe Surfing Art Quilt Hawaiian Sunset Big Stitch Hand Quilted~ 23.5"

This Art Quilt wall hanging has a Surfer Girl standing on the beach next to the ocean looking up at the beautiful sunset sky while holding her surfboard. Ann Jensen created this lovely artwork using batik fabrics, and I had the design printed onto organic cotton fabric. Award-winning quilter Charlotte Noll then used Big Stitch hand quilting accents throughout the design, using Sue Spargo Eleganza variegated color quilting thread. You can see the back of the Art Quilt that shows the specific hand quilting in this piece. Premium Quilter's Dream batting was used, and I used Michael Miller Fairy Frost Icing fabric on the back. The binding was made from Island Batik's purple and gold leaves fabric and was also Big Stitch hand quilted. There are triangular pockets on the back for you to easily insert a dowel for hanging your Art Quilt. The finished wall hanging measures 23.5" x 23.5". You will need to provide the wood dowel for hanging this artwork. I also have this design as a cotton or velvet fabric panel in my store if you would like to make your own quilt, pillow or wall hanging.
